From its founding as Landmarks Chattanooga in 1975, and known for many years as Cornerstones, Preserve Chattanooga has been protecting our city’s architectural heritage through historic preservation, education, and advocacy for 50 years!

Preserve Chattanooga has planned an unprecedented year of special events, activities, and projects.

Keep a check on our calendar of events and help us celebrate preservation throughout the year.

Also watch for special initiatives and surprises throughout the year, including updating 1977 Hamilton County Preservation Plan, our initiative to relight the iconic Choo Choo sign at Terminal Station, an interactive history quiz, and a special series on architects who have contributed to our cityscape.
