The historic Walnut Street Bridge, the traditional home for Wine Over Water, is undergoing much-needed restoration making this year the perfect time for a Wine Over Water “renaissance”. The festival will take place in beautiful Renaissance Park, an inspiring location by the water with views of both the historic Walnut Street and Market Street Bridges. In addition to elevated wine, food, and music experiences, the park will create a distinctive ambience with its river piers, outdoor sculpture, special lighting installations, and our NEW circle of entertainment.

FOOD
Food tastings and pairings are part of the Wine Over Water experience. Carefully curated, the food experience is designed to highlight Chattanooga restaurants, caterers, chefs, and new talent. Portions are just enough to give you a yummy taste while leaving room for more wine!
MUSIC
Live music is part of the fun. Featured artists have recently included Le Gat, Luke Simmons an. the Lovestruck, Magic Birds, and Waxing + Waning. Experience performance artists in our NEW circle of entertainment.

Event Committee
Preserve Chattanooga board member, Delton Chen, is leading a planning committee comprised of 18 volunteers representing organizations such as Chattanooga Tourism, the City of Chattanooga, and River City Company, along with a wealth of expertise in event planning, logistics, marketing, volunteers, and wine selection.

This year, the Walnut Street Bridge is under renovation by the City of Chattanooga. Wine Over Water will be held at Renaissance Park, located between the Walnut Street and Market Street Bridges along the Tennessee River. The event space includes public art, historical signage, and an entertainment circle.

To mark Wine Over Water's 30th anniversary, we have planned a special celebration. A committee of community leaders with event management, tourism, volunteer leadership, transportation, safety, and wine expertise has been formed. Moving to Renaissance Park offers a chance to enhance the guest experience in 2025.

At this time we do not offer discounts for seniors and veterans. Wine Over Water is a nonprofit fundraiser benefitting Preserve Chattanooga. Covering the expenses of the event and generating program funding is essential to our mission.

Tickets are nonrefundable but transferable. If you can't attend, you can gift or resell your tickets without changing registration. Preserve Chattanooga cannot assist with ticket resales.

Bring your Eventbrite ticket with the QR code, either printed or on your phone, and your ID. Wine Over Water is only for guests 21 and older. Event entrances will be clearly marked.

No. Guests have the option to stay at nearby hotels or use services such as Uber, Lyft, or other transportation methods to attend the event. Nonalcoholic wines are available for attendees who prefer not to consume alcohol. Tickets for children are not available for this event.

On October 24, Best Cellars returns to the Hunter Museum of Art. Chattanooga’s premier wine event carefully curates premium wine tastings along with chef-driven food pairings and live music. This elegant evening is a perfect launch for a weekend designed for wine enthusiasts.
